2026 Flu Vaccines Now Available
Influenza can be a very serious disease. To protect yourself and others from influenza, you should get vaccinated every year.
The flu vaccine is strongly recommended and free under the National Immunisation Program for the following people most at risk of complications from influenza:
Children aged 6 months to less than 5 years
Pregnant women for every pregnancy and at any stage of pregnancy
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 6 months and over
People aged 65 years and over
People aged 6 months and over with certain medical conditions.
