Workcover

Eastlink Family Medical is pleased to help you or one of your employees get back to work following a work-related injury. An experienced GP is able to assist you by examining the patient’s injury and recovery and producing a Workcover Certificate of Capacity. This determines the worker’s capacity for work and the duties that they can and cannot perform at work following the injury. This also provides employers with information they require to safely plan the worker’s return to work.

• Assessing overall capacity of work

• Reviewing progress and future goals

• Prescribing appropriate pharmacy items

Doctors are able to assist you with both a Workcover Certificate of Capacity, as well as a TAC claim, to ensure you get the help you need following a work-related incident and the appropriate steps required to return to work.
